Contest for dA project:
The contest is for an upcoming comic-project I have planned to make. However, in order to make it at least a bit original (and to get some attention for the comic), I'm holding a contest, where you will be able to submit your character, as a part of the story I will make.
To summarise it boldly, the comic will be based off the usual highschool-manga's you see nowadays. Jenny will be the main character, and Daemon will be following her around. Action might not be the most used thing, because I'm not on the level of an official manga-artist. The comic will most likely be of poor quality as well, but I will try to improve while at it.
Your character can become a major part of the comic. The reference doesn't have to be manga-styled or anything in particular, but be aware that I will try to draw the character in my own style, not your own. You can also submit up to 3 references, which can be used if you win. If the two other characters from your references doesn't suit you, you may submit other references instead. But tell me beforehand if you do so. It will be accepted though, unless the judging is ongoing.

Requirements for entrance:
watcher (recommended) or
contactable.

Requirements for winners:
Almost every possible information about the winner's character (I will ask eventually).
A describtion about the character's personality (which will be on the reference), or various suggestions on various chapters.
If the character have a familly, a (coloured?) reference is needed for each familly-member.

Requirements for semi-winners:
A describtion or suggestions for the small story the winners have aquired for their character.

Requirements for entrants:
That they have submitted their finished entries.

Main rules:
The reference entry has to be fully coloured and DRAWN. No shading is required (however is highly recommended), and neither is a background (not highly, but still recommended).
The character must have a human-like-appearance, but it's not necessary for him/her to be of the human race. Exceptions can be made if it's a creature with humanoid features as Daemon. Size of the character may be uncommon, but it has to barely fit the classroom at the very most, and it may not be under the height of Daemon (he's around the height of Jenny's knee).
Simply put, the character may not be a beast, giant or any other kinds of strange things that doesn't fit into a high school at all.
no nudity (whatsoever) or sexual (except if very mild) themes for the character.
The character have to be wearing the school uniform. Various colours can be used.
A full describtion of the character must be written. Personality, how he/she fares at various subjects, his/her background, ect ect.
A reference will also be judged by the artwork, so don't be too lazy with it.

Prizes:
1st place:
The character will become a main character in the story. Parts of the chapters can occasionally focus on said character.
Other characters related to this one (maximum 2) can be a part of the class. They won't have as major a role as the winner-character though.
There will be extra chapters which will have a small story about the character. Story will be upon request.
The character will always be featured in ”book covers” together with the other main characters and will also appear in chapter front-page art.
(Other occasional characters, which are not mine, can be used like this if the owner agrees with this. It will most likely only happen with close friends.)

2nd place and 3rd:
The character will become a major character in the story. Parts of the chapters will make said characters important and they can also become plot-devices.
There will be extra chapters which will have a small story about the character. Story will be upon request.
The characters will occasionally be featured in ”book covers” and will also appear in chapter front-page art.
(Other occasional characters, which are not mine, can be used like this if the owner agrees with this. It will most likely only happen with close friends.)

4th and downwards:
If character reference is finished, character will appear as a cameo in occasional situations.
Character can also be used for comical purposes, but he/she will have no importance to the story whatsoever.
